Climate Change Exposed

Back in 2005 senator Inhofe said on the floor of US Senate, "Systematic and documented abuse of the scientific process by which an international body that claims it provides the most complete and objective science assessment in the world on the subject of climate change, the United Nations IPCC"

Talking to Jed Babbin on Washington Times America's Morning Show on Nov 23 2009 Inhofe said, "Now that was four years ago; so we knew they were cooking the science back then, and you've been talking about the, you know, what's happened recently with the bloggers coming up with what they did..."

It was announced Thursday afternoon, 19th Nov 2009, that computer hackers had obtained 160 megabytes of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in England. Those e-mails involved communication among many scientific researchers and policy advocates with similar ideological positions all across the world. Those purported authorities were brazenly discussing the destruction and hiding of data that did not support global-warming claims.

Professor Phil Jones, the head of the Climate Research Unit, and professor Michael E. Mann at Pennsylvania State University, who has been an important scientist in the climate debate, have come under particular scrutiny. Among his e-mails, Mr. Jones talked to Mr. Mann about the "trick of adding in the real temps to each series ... to hide the decline [in temperature]."

These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW "Anthropogenic Global Warming" theory – suggest:

"Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more."

Here are a few tasters.

Manipulation of evidence:

"I've just completed Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith's to hide the decline."

Private doubts about whether the world really is heating up:

"The fact is that we can't account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can't. The CERES data published in the August BAMS 09 supplement on 2008 shows there should be even more warming: but the data are surely wrong. Our observing system is inadequate."

Suppression of evidence:

"Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4?

Keith will do likewise. He's not in at the moment – minor family crisis.

Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don't have his new email address.

We will be getting Caspar to do likewise."

Fantasies of violence against prominent Climate Sceptic scientists:

time I see Pat Michaels at a scientific meeting, I'll be tempted to beat
the crap out of him. Very tempted."

Attempts to disguise the inconvenient truth of the Medieval Warm Period (MWP):

" ……Phil and I have recently submitted a paper using about a dozen NH records that fit this category, and many of which are available nearly 2K back–I think that trying to adopt a timeframe of 2K, rather than the usual 1K, addresses a good earlier point that Peck made w/ regard to the memo, that it would be nice to try to "contain" the putative "MWP", even if we don't yet have a hemispheric mean reconstruction available that far back…."

And, perhaps most reprehensibly, a long series of communications discussing how best to squeeze dissenting scientists out of the peer review process. How, in other words, to create a scientific climate in which anyone who disagrees with AGW can be written off as a crank, whose views do not have a scrap of authority.

"This was the danger of always criticising the skeptics for not publishing in the "peer-reviewed literature". Obviously, they found a solution to that–take over a journal! So what do we do about this? I think we have to stop considering "Climate Research" as a legitimate peer-reviewed journal. Perhaps we should encourage our colleagues in the climate research community to no longer submit to, or cite papers in, this journal. We would also need to consider what we tell or request of our more reasonable colleagues who currently sit on the editorial board…What do others think?"

"I will be emailing the journal to tell them I'm having nothing more to do with it until they rid themselves of this troublesome editor.""It results from this journal having a number of editors. The responsible one for this is a well-known skeptic in NZ. He has let a few papers through by Michaels and Gray in the past. I've had words with Hans von Storch about this, but got nowhere. Another thing to discuss in Nice !"

Senator Inhofe said to Jed Babbin on Washington Times America's Morning Show on Nov 23 2009, "Well, on this thing, it is pretty serious. And since, you know, Barabara Boxer is the Chairman and I'm the Ranking Member on Environment and Public Works, if nothing happens in the next seven days when we go back into session a week from today that would change this situation, I will call for an investigation.  'Cause this thing is serious, you think about the literally millions of dollars that have been thrown away on some of this stuff that they came out with."

And guess what President Obama of Unites States of America just said yesterday, Nov 24 2009, "the world has moved "one step closer" to a "strong operational agreement" on climate change at next month's Copenhagen summit" after his talks with Indian and Chinese leaders.

In the Shadow of the Moon - Ron Howard

My wife and I just watched the documentary "In the Shadow of the moon". These are some of the testimonies of the astronauts after their flight to the moon. Isn't our God (Jesus) an amazing God?

"I felt that I was literally standing on a plateau somewhere out there in space. A plateau that science and technology had allowed me to get to. But now what I was seeing and even more important what I was feeling at that moment in time, science and technology had no answers for it. Literally no answers because there I was, and there you are, there you were, the Earth dynamic, overwhelming and I felt that the world is just too much purpose, too much logic, we're just too beautiful to have happened by accident. There has to be somebody bigger than you, and bigger than me, and I mean this in a spiritual sense, not in a religious sense, there has to be a creator of the universe who stands above the religions that we ourselves create to govern our lives."
-Gene Cernan (Apollo 10 & 17)

"A friend of ours got us to go to a Bible study at a tennis club and after that weekend I said to Jesus, I said, "I give you my life and if you're real come into my life." And I believe and he did and I sense I had a sense of peace that was hard to describe. It was so dramatic we started sharing our stories. I say my walk on a moon lasted three days and it was a great adventure but my walk with God lasts forever."
-Charlie Duke (Apollo 16)

"We learnt a lot about the moon, but what we really learnt was about the Earth. The fact that from the distance of the moon you can put your thumb up and you can hide the Earth behind your thumb, everything that you've ever known, your loved ones, your business, the problems of the earth itself, all behind your thumb and how insignificant we, really, all are. But then how fortunate we are to have this body and to be able to enjoy living here amongst the beauty of the Earth itself."
-Jim Lovell (Apollo 8 & 13)

(You got to see "Planet Earth" series from BBC.)

Our earth is indeed an amazing creation a handiwork of our Lord Jesus.

Noah's and Shem's Descendants

Created with the help of ESV Study Bible If there are no gaps between the descendants...

Noah's Descendants

Shem's Descendants

Age Decline Few observations:
  • Noah was alive when Abram was living.
  • A flood survivor Shem was alive when Abraham, Issac, and Jacob were living.
  • When Babel happened Noah, Arpachshad, Shelah, and Eber were still alive. So, overnight they might not have understood each other.
  • Shem settled down in Mesopotamia region where Abram lived.
  • (They might have had tea together and discussed about boat making and the "Big flood"!!!)
Do you have more observations?

A Prophetic Sermon preached on Jan 25, 1998?

Bill Clinton, Al Gore, George Bush, Chief Justice Roberts, etc

...Beware of thinking and praying toward an impeachment of President Clinton because of his most recent turmoil. That may be the right thing to do. But our puny wisdom is not worthy of running the world. If he is impeached and convicted and forced out of office, Al Gore will become the president of the United States. That will make his chances of being elected president in the next election much higher as an incumbent.

And where was Al Gore Thursday on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade? At an abortion-rights gathering, not a pro-life gathering. Richard Neuhaus points out that it is very likely that the next president will appoint four new Justices to the Supreme Court. That means that an impeachment and conviction of President Clinton would probably put a radically pro-choice president in office for the next ten years, namely Al Gore. But if Clinton has to limp to the end of his presidency in disgrace, history may take a very different turn. We don't know.

I only point this out to remind you that God is in heaven and rules over the affairs of men, and is much wiser than we are in running the world. It behooves us to pray for God's wise and just and merciful plan to unfold rather than to assume that our shortsighted guesses are the best. When Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, became proud and defied the living God, Daniel 4:31-32 says,

A voice came from heaven, saying, "King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared: sovereignty has been removed from you, and you will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling place will be with the beasts of the field. You will be given grass to eat like cattle, and seven periods of time will pass over you until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes."

This is still true. God will rule over who is chosen for the Supreme Court in the next several years and we do well to join him in his wise and just and sovereign rule of the world by praying for his kingdom to come and his will to be done on earth the way the angels do it in heaven, and by voting and acting in accord with God's will revealed in Scripture....

"Some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away the part of you that knows its a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend"

The Mystery of Love

"...the mystery of love... no one can figure out who is doing the giving and who the receiving. Real lovers know giving and receiving are hilarious and splendid parados, in which lo the giving becomes receiving and the receiving giving until any efforts to sort it out collapse in merriment or adoration."

- Thomas Howard
